Newton plus is the patented active hybrid infrared barrier from CIAS; robust and reliable, with an attractive design. It is made up from hybrid tx/rx optic kits which analyzes and detects any possible intrusion. Newton plus is especially useful for protecting single family homes, warehouses facades, roofs, walled areas, parking lots, storage facilities.

D.I.S. (Dual interlaced scanning) TECHNOLOGY 100Hz

Each cell integrates the dual function Transmitter and Receiver, using the D.I.S. technology (Double Interlaced Scanning). The infrared beams are multiplexed and synchronized at the frequency of 100 Hz. The concept of separate transmission and reception has been surpassed cause all optics and towers are completely identical.

DOUBLE AUTOMATIC GAIN CONTROL (A.G.C.)

Double controlled AGC enables compensation for variations in the incoming signal to ensure uninterrupted operation of the barrier.
This processing of the signal is performed based on a time curve that differentiates exterior phenomena (weather or others) from intrusion attempts and thereby signiFicantly reduces the number of false alarms.

STATUS ALARMS COLLECTION

Newton Plus is provided with output switches (Alarm, Tamper and Disqualification) on each tower.
This feature simplify the wiring procedure, because it’s possible to choose where to wire the alarms output, according to needs and constrains.

INTEGRATED THERMOSTAT-CONTROLLED HEATING
Condensation and morning dew, humidity in the interior of the tower caused by high air temperature, ice, etc. are all important factors to take into consideration for effective exterior detection. NEWTON PLUS integrates a thermostat-controlled heater on each optic precluding these situations.

ANTIGLARE FEATURE
Thanks to this feature, Newton Plus is completely immune to glare directly on the receiver from possible powerfull light sources, such as the setting sun or headlights of cars.
