On 12 September 2008 in a hotel “EXPO”, Sofia was carried out a technical training seminar NEXEDGE 2008. At the event was presented new digital radio system NEXEDGE of the world’s leading manufacturers of communications equipment-Kenwood (Japan). Specially for the presentation was delivered demo equipment for training and presentation of system performance capabilities in real terms. Special guests to the event were Mr Trevor Wright, Regional Director Sales Kenwood UK and Mr. Casey Fukazimu – Technical Director Kenwood Europe.
Participants of the seminar, representatives of various departments in the Ministry of Interior, had the opportunity to learn about new digital products – professional mobile and carry radios, repeaters. Work of system in trunk and conventional mode was shown. Special attention was paid to the functions and capabilities of individual products.
Mr Trevor Wright and Mr. Casey Fukazimu answered many questions and provided useful information and settings for configuring the system in different modes of operation.
Event strengthen good relations between Sectron Ltd. and Kenwood and provide useful information on the implementation of digital NEXEDGE system to the existing analog systems used in the Ministry of Interior.
