SkimProt protects your bank card from unauthorized copying of valuable personal and bank information and draining of your bank account. SkimProt is specially designed sticker, easy to attach on the bank card magnetic strip, protecting it from the scanning by so called skimming devices*. Designed for use with bank cards equipped electronic smart chip and magnetic stripe it blocks the access to card magnetic stripe
SkimProt fully protects information written on the magnetic stripe while service code directs ATM’s and POS terminals to seek bank details on the card smart-chip. Since the recorded information is duplicated on the smart-chip, the card is fully operational while remaining invisible to the skimming devices.

* Skimming device - illegally placed on the ATM or bank terminal scanner (skimmer), which copies banking and personal data from the card, without the permission of the card owner and without the knowledge of the bank. These devices are often invisible to the client and look like a natural component of the ATM. Inserted into the slot of an ATM the bank card is scanned by attached skimming device. The client performs desired operation without any obstructions, not knowing about the fraud. Downloaded information is recorded and transmitted to a computer controlled by criminals.
