Hikvision TURBO HD - the optimal solution for transition to megapixel video surveillance

HD-TVI (High Definition Transport Video Interface) is a new technology that allows the video transmission with megapixel resolution (720p / 1080p) over standard coaxial cable. It solves one of the main problems of the new IP security systems – replacement of the old coaxial cable systems with network. SECTRON’s customers and partners found out more about the opportunities that this technology will give during a company presentation held in the International Exhibition for Security and Protection - Security Expo 2015, at Inter Expo Center. One of the leaders in the field of security systems presented live in front of 220 guests the advantages of the new Hikvision (Turbo HD) series of products, based on the new HD-TVI technology.

Hikvision’s Turbo HD recorders are hybrid HD-TVI DVRs that support both HD-TVI cameras and standard analog cameras (freely selectable for each video input). In addition, DS-72xx recorders support and record up to two IP cameras Hikvision. This provides maximum flexibility for users to use a recorder to different standards and types of cameras as needed.

At the event SECTRON demonstrated  Hikvision’s new Smart IPC lineup of  professional cameras with smart features. The live demonstration showcased the advanced features such as built-in sound detection, face detection, camera autofocus, defocus detection and the well-known functions for detection of crossing the line and violation of the zone.

The introduction of the Turbo HD and SMART IPC series continued with company presentations in Varna, Burgas and Plovdiv. All events ended with a raffle – product prizes and coupons for additional discounts for Hikvision CCTV equipment
