In this connection, a specialized seminar on "The new regulation on personal data protection and how it will influence the installation and maintenance of the video surveillance systems" was organized on May 29, 2018 in the Vitosha Hall, Inter Expo Center.
In more than 200 guests, lecturer Dr. Margarita Hubenova, PhD in Information Law and Data Protection Expert presented in two modules the basic concepts of GDPR, good practices in the storage of personal data and how the Privacy Regulation will affect Video surveillance and video verification systems.
During the seminar, various practical cases related to the maintenance and installation of video surveillance systems and the mandatory requirements to be met under the new regulation were discussed.
Of particular interest and questions were the presented detectors with video verification for outdoor installation Paradox HD88 and the capabilities of controlling HD78 and HD88 alarm systems and data via the mobile application Insite Gold.
